Your psychiatric telehealth visit may include:
• Psychiatric evaluation and symptom assessment
• Review of current and previous psychiatric diagnoses
• Anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood, sleep, and other mental-health concerns
• Review of current and previous psychiatric medications
• Psychiatric medication management when clinically appropriate
• Medication effectiveness and side-effect review
• Treatment-plan development and modification
• Coping strategies and supportive interventions
• Patient education
• Safety and risk assessment when clinically indicated
• Follow-up recommendations and coordination of care when appropriate
Cash-Pay Fee: $150 per visit
Payment is required before the scheduled visit. This is a self-pay service. Insurance coverage or reimbursement is not guaranteed.
Important Medication Policy
A psychiatric evaluation does not guarantee that medication will be prescribed.
Medication decisions are made only after an appropriate clinical assessment and are based on medical necessity, patient safety, applicable prescribing laws, professional standards, and the provider's independent clinical judgment.
Narcotic medications are not prescribed through this service.
Requests for controlled substances may require additional records, diagnostic documentation, prescription-monitoring review, an established treatment relationship, in-person evaluation, laboratory testing, or other requirements when clinically or legally appropriate. A specific medication is never guaranteed simply because it was previously prescribed by another clinician.
Before Your Visit
Patients are expected to provide complete and accurate information regarding:
• Current and previous psychiatric diagnoses
• Medical conditions
• Current prescription medications
• Previous psychiatric medications
• Medication allergies and adverse reactions
• Over-the-counter medications and supplements
• Alcohol use
• Nicotine/tobacco/vaping
• Marijuana/cannabis use
• Other substance use
• Previous psychiatric hospitalization when applicable
• Current or previous mental-health providers
• Relevant medical and psychiatric records when requested
Patients must also disclose the state in which they are physically located at the time of the telehealth appointment. Services can only be provided when applicable licensing and telehealth requirements are satisfied.
Telehealth
Psychiatric services are provided virtually. Telehealth has limitations compared with an in-person evaluation, and the provider may recommend laboratory testing, medical evaluation, psychological testing, specialist evaluation, emergency assessment, or in-person care when clinically appropriate.
Emergency Notice
This service is not an emergency or crisis service.
If you are experiencing an immediate medical or psychiatric emergency, believe you may harm yourself or someone else, or cannot safely wait for an outpatient appointment, call 911 or seek immediate evaluation at the nearest emergency department.
